She was in NYC by 1894. Her name was Anna Helena D Bunke. She was born 23 Feb 1869 to Friedrich Bunke and Helena Solinkes. She had a brother, William (Wilhelm) and a sister, Doris. She married my g-grandfather, Wilhelm Martin Meyer, on 4 Mar 1894 in NYC. He immigrated from Oldenburg, GER. I have not found them on the Ellis Island site and I haven't been able to find any good research sites in Germany. Perhaps you could share some links with me? Thank you, Kari

His parents were Carl Wilhelm Meyer & Juliane Henriette Bamann. I have a mariage date for them 25July 1824 in Sankt Jakobi,Prenzlau,Brandenurg,Presussen.Rudolph married Katherine(no last name). They migrated at sometime to Wisconsin where my Grandmother was born in 1873. Her name was Helena(Lena) Juliane Meyer . She was the oldest of 12 children. At some point they move to Massachussetts. Rudolph 1840 - 1883 & Katherine 1856 -1914 are buried in Glenwood Cemetery, South Natick,Ma. I have the original deed to the lot. I have a whole family album of the Meyers with no names. I do know the My Grandmother Helena(lena) moved Falmouth, Ma. They owned two houses in Falmouth Heights,MA This is all the information I have on the Meyer's. He married a woman born in 1912 or 1913.Would like to tie up this loose end in family geneology of my fiancee.We believe they may have been living in the bronx or queens. the first name of a family member may have been Lawrence but this is unclear. In 1910, the census showed him to be living in Manhattan with wife, Minnie, and one daughter named Sylvia who was born in New York in about 1907. There may have been other children born into this family after 1910, but so far I have been unable to locate this family in the 1920 census. Anyone related to this family??

Their mother, Annie Luesing (born abt 1886 in Germany) and father (unknown) were said to have died from tuberculosis when the children were very young. Ted married a woman named Eunice and resided in New Jersey; he died September 17, 1977. An uncle visited Alma (married name unknown) in the Great Lakes region--perhaps Illinois--when he attended naval training in the 40s. My grandmother, Martha Marie Luesing-Bohlinger, was Annie's half-sister. Martha's surviving children (the oldest is 84, the youngest is in her early 60s) would dearly love to connect with their relatives. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
