My g-grandfather was named Ernest Meyer. He was born around 1859 in Germany and came to Wisconsin about 1863. His father's name was also Ernest and his mother's name Henrietta. I think I found him and his parents living in Brown county, Wi. in 1870. After that I cannot find him until 1910 at which time he was in Langlade County, Wi. I know he was in Shawano County, Wi. shortly before that, because my grandmother and her sisters were born there between 1902 and 1905. He finally settled in Winnebago County, Wi. where he died. I would love to hear from anybody who might have a connection.

    3. Moll family in Minnesota? I noticed you said you did research on the Moll family that led you to the Meyer's. Also listed in your surnames is Reiss. You will find Moll's, Meyer's, and Reiss's in Perry County, Missouri as well. They have been there since the 1830's. Never heard of them heading to Minnesota, but that doesn't mean some didn't. Interesting. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]]On Behalf Of [email protected] Sent: Saturday, October 04, 2003 10:29 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [MEYER] Re: Meyer in Wisconsin This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list.
