Together they had at least one known son, Joseph Moyer who was born in 1803 in PA. Joseph married Jane Vanosdoll in Wayne Co., OH. in 1829. he died in 1891 in Calhoun Co., MI. They had 4 known children, Peter, Mary, John, and Permilia/Pamela. Joseph's death certificate lists his parents names as Abraham Meyer and Elizabeth Meyer both being born in OH, however, other information I've run across suggests they were born in PA. Any iformation would be most appreciated.

Caroline Notten Meyer was my Grandfather's aunt. My Grandfather being Chester G. Notten. In fact some of the info in the orginal inquire on Ancestery .com is now incorrect. I have moved to the Family centennial farm outside of Grass Lake, Mi. On the farm are two homes one being the home that Caroline was raised, and a smaller home that my Grandfather built in the 1920's. You can reach me via e mail @ [email protected] OR my address as follows : 14900 Reiman Rd , Grass Lake, MI 49240. My father ( Henry) and I work on the genealogy of the family. I do have a picture of Caroline and her family (?) You probably have more information than I have about Caroline . I do know that my Grandfather's siblings / a sister and one of his brother's I believe visited caroline in Cal. at one time. Please let me know what info that you would like and i willl see what my dad and i can send you. At the present I do not have a scanner... the pic is at leas! t a 8x10 . Maybe there is a way that I could put it on a disc and email it to you. I also corespond with Chris Day and Jeremy Tuggle , who are both Great, great, great grandsons of Caroline's Again thank you for inquiring about my message inquire. My dad and I do have the Genealogy somewhat completed . We do know of the names of the twin brothers ( Ehlert and John )who came from Measure, England. Story has it that they were born on the high seas in the yr 1801. I do not know who their parents were or if they had any other siblings. I suspect that i will have to go to England to do any research. My Dad was told that the name " NOTTEN" is as common in England as "Smith " is here in the states. Well it is a small tidbit of information for you. IF you would like to contact me I can be found in the Chelsea , MI phone district under NOTTN, MG. Would like to answer any questions that you have , if I can and if not I will get with my Dad and see if he has the answer. Take care and again thanks for responding to the inquire. Sincerely Marti Notten
