They came from an area around Luneburg. I suspect that my Juergen Friedrich remarried and so I hunt his brother. I seen a letter written where it mentions a frtz, rather than Fred. And so wondered about yours. It seems my roadblock for the germany family is the village of Radenbeck.- Thomasburg The family has a little green book and i finially got one. Otto Henry went to Longview, Texas and married a person who married twice. Mabel Malone. of Corsica, Texas. Children Dorotyh Ann b. 1924 and James Otto Meyer b. 1931 Dorthy must have married a Kincaid. I thought a fred who had an apedicitus attack and death was there also. Though he died in iowa. Surnames: Meyer, Pohl, Huhn, Bernlitz, Jennings, Kraft, Beckmann Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/oh0.2ACEB/1831.2.1.1 Message Board Post: No, I don't think Harry Meyer actually made hats. He was a shipping clerk according to the census. The one city directory I looked up didn't specify beyond "hat company." If any of these St. Louis Pohls went to Oregon or Washington, it probably would have been after 1930. Henry C., Ernst C., and William C. were the male siblings of Louisa. All three brothers were born between 1857 and 1875. I don't know where or when they died.
