The funeral of the late Mrs. Marven Minue took place yesterday afternoon from her late home in Marysville and was largely attended by friends and relatives. Rev. Mr. Sabine of the Reformed Baptist Church conducted the service at the house and grave while a male quartette sang several hymns. There were many beautiful floral tributes, silent tribute to the deceased. Interment was made at Penniac. The pall-bearers were Frederick Robinson, Norman Cochrane, David Saunders, Thomas Mitchell. The chief mourners wee Marven Minue, Fraser Minue, Percy W. Minue, Peter Haines, Ernest Haines, William Jamieson, Thomas Mitchell, Marvin Mitchell, Percy Hughes, Zellan Bunker, Harry Elder, William Seymour, Miles Jones, Harding Jones, J. B. McInnis, Fred Day, George Smith, the Mayor and Town Council of Marysville, Michael Blair. The late Mrs. Minue was a woman with many warm personal friends, a lover of her home and family, active in the church and Sunday School, and one at all times ready to lend a hand to those in trouble or sorrow, and her death caused general regret wherever she was known. (Handwritten at the top of the clipping - Aug. 1933) Died in Minnesota. Word has been received here of the death at Saint Paul, Minn. On Monday last of Mrs. Ludlow Hodgson at the age of 54 years. Deceased was born at New Maryland, before marriage being Miss Bertha McKnight. She removed to the United States some years ago and four years ago visited her old home. She was well known and highly respected and news of her death will be learned of with regret. She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Myrtle, St. Paul, Minn.; two sons, Chester and Guy Hodgson, Brownville, Me., and a sister, Mrs. Walter Fisher, Fredericton. The body was brought east to Brownville and the funeral will take place there to-morrow afternoon. Mrs. Fisher is leaving this evening for Brownville to attend the funeral. The late Dell McKnight was a brother. DIED TITUS At Marysville, N. B., May 20th 1937, George W. Titus, son of the late Hugh C. and Mary Titus, aged sixty-six years. Funeral from his late home Saturday afternoon with service at two o'clock by Rev. M. D. Oliver and interment in United Baptist Cemetery, Marysville. WEDDALL Suddenly on April 12, 1932, Bessie B. Weddall, wife of Charles H. Weddall, aged 55 years. Funeral from her late home, 316 George street, to-morrow afternoon, with service at 2.30 o'clock by Rev. J. W. Bartlett and interment at Rural Cemetery.
