A. B. Culligan, with Canadian Express Company for 26 Years, Was Well Known. News of the death on Sunday night of Henry (Harry) A. B. Culligan at this home in York street came as a shock to his many friends and relatives as few were aware of his illness. He had not been well for a week but expected to be back at work this morning. Mr. Culligan was born in Fredericton forty years ago and had lived his entire life here. At a very early age he entered the service of the Canadian Pacific Express and for 26 years had been in the service as express messenger and clerk. In his years of service he gave complete satisfaction to those who had dealings with him and his kindly greeting will be missed. He was a member of the choir of Wilmot Church and gave freely of his talent in every good cause. He was also a member of Wilmot Brotherhood and active in affairs of the church generally. He was a grandson of the late Henry B. (Uncle Henry) Braithwaite and at a very early age accompanied his grandfather on many of his trips into the Miramichi woods. He had many fine qualities which made him friends and in his home and private life he was a devoted father and son. He was twice married and is survived by his second wife, who was Greta M. Shaw, and two children by his first marriage, Bertram and Frances; his mother, Mrs. Harriet Culligan; a half-sister, Mrs. Guy Matthews, South Devon, and an aunt, Mrs. Albert Ashford, Fredericton. The funeral will take place to-morrow afternoon with service at his late home, 291 York street, at 2.30 o'clock by rev. J. W. Bartlett, and interment in Wilmot section of Rural Cemetery. DIED GILMAN Suddenly at Fredericton, N. B. December 27th, 1935, Frederick Gilman, aged twenty-five years. Private prayers at the home in Shore street to-morrow afternoon at 2.15 o'clock and public service in Christ Church Parish Church at 2.40 o'clock by Ven. Archdeacon A. F. Bate, assisted by Rev. H. T. Buckland, and interment in Rural Cemetery. ESTABROOKS Fell softly asleep at Marysville, N. B., December 28th, 1935, Myrtle Maxine Estabrooks, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wendall Estabrooks, aged fifteen months. Funeral from home of parents to-morrow afternoon with service at 2.30 o'clock by Rev. W. S. Smith and interment in Baptist Cemetery, Marysville.
