Jean and other, Perhaps someone will have information about two of my elusive Whitney wives. Benjamin Whitney was born 6/6/1643 and died 3/26/1723 in Watertown. I have only the first name "Jane" for his wife. They were married circa 1690 in York. Captain Nathan Whitney was born 4/30/1742 in Biddeford/Saco ME. He came to Columbia Falls in 1768 and died in Columbia before 4/7/1834. He also resided in Addison ME. His wife's name was "Patience Bernard/Barnard." However Early Pleasant River Families said her last name was possibly Burnham and she was born 1742 in Portsmouth, now Greenland, NH.
