I am trying to learn more about William McDONALD who is said to be the father of my gggrandmother Amanda McDONALD ROBINSON. I understand that he was married to Love RAMSDELL. Amanda McDONALD married Sanford Hunt ROBINSON December 1854 in Lubec. Our family records say that Amanda was born in Scotland but I see no reason to believe that that is true. One more thing. Information provided to me by Pat Townsend indicates Amanda and Sanford had a child Saphira ROBINSON, b. Sept 9, 1855 in Lubec. This child is never mentioned in any of our family records.
