Resident of Fredericton For Past 23 Years Native of Manchester, England The death occurred yesterday afternoon at his home 571 King street of Dr. William Gerrard, after a short illness in the sixty-fifth year os his age. Deceased was born in Manchester, England, and a graduate of Owens College now Victoria University, London, England. He practised his profession in Gateshead for a number of years and before coming to Canada was an all round athlete, and a lover of the outdoors. To his intimate friends he was a scholarly gentleman, well read and versed in all the happenings of the world. About 23 years ago he came to Fredericton and although of a retired nature he made many fast friends during the practise of his profession. Although not in the best of health for some time the end which came with unexpected suddenness yesterday afternoon at 1.30 o'clock will be learned of with sincere regret. He is survived by one son, Hamilton Gerrard, Fredericton; three daughters, Mrs. James E. Rogers, New York City, who will arrive here tomorrow noon, and Misses Vallerie and Enid, at home; also two sisters, Mrs. Grace Turner and Mrs. Joshua Wood, of Manchester, England. The funeral will take place on Tuesday afternoon with service at his late home at 2.30 o'clock by Rev. W. J. bate and interment at Rural Cemetery extension. DIED STAPLES At Marysville, N. B. March 14th 1933, Annie C., beloved wife of Moses Staples, in her 69th year. Funeral from her late home to-morrow afternoon with service at 2.30 o'clock by Rev. E. R. MacWilliams, assisted by Rev. Mr. Sabine and Rev. Mr. Manuel, and interment made in the United Church of Canada Cemetery, Marysville. DIED STAFFORD Suddenly at Marysville, N. B. on May 31st 1932, George W.
