    3. (Handwritten at the top of the clipping - June 13, 1934.) J. B. WOOD DEAD In Hospital Few Hours When Death Occurred — Born at Rusagonis. The death occurred last night at 8.20 o'clock at Victoria Public Hospital, Fredericton, of James Byron Wood, after a very short illness, at the age of 36 years. Deceased was born at Rusagonis, a son of Charles and the late Mrs. Wood. For the past ten years he had been residing at Minto where he was an accountant. Sunday he complained of not feeling well but paid no attention to it. Yesterday morning his condition was such that he was brought to the hospital at 11 o'clock, suffering with throat trouble and last night his death followed. He was a young man of many fine traits, courteous to everyone, a kind and loving husband and father and his death will be learned of with sincere regret by his many friends in different parts of Canada and the United States. He is survived by his widow, formerly Miss Viola M. Smith, of Nasonworth; two children, Carol and Merilyn Dawn; his father, Charles Wood; a brother, John R. Wood, of Rusagonis, and five sisters, Mrs. R. S. Gregg, Port William, N. B.; Mrs. Haviland Hovey, Moncton; Mrs. Earl Fraser, Fredericton, and Mrs. Harold Foster, Minto. His mother died in 1929 and last December, a brother, Burton Wood, died from monoxide poisoning. The funeral will take place on Saturday afternoon from the home of his father at Rusagonis where service will be conducted at two o'clock by Rev. Mr. Ricker and interment made at Rusagonis. DIED ROBINSON — James Robinson, at the residence of Mrs. Mabel Mackie, Marysville, February 16, 1933. Funeral Friday evening at 7.30. No flowers by request. DIED HIGGINS — At Marysville, N. B., July 12, 1934. Elizabeth, widow of Hugh Higgins, in her seventy-fourth year. Funeral from her late home to-morrow afternoon with service at 2.30 o'clock by Rev. W. S. Smith and interment in the Untied Baptist Cemetery. DIED MacDOWELL — Fell softly asleep at Marysville, N. B., June 28th, 1934, Helen Mae, only child of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph R. MacDowell, aged 15 months. Funeral from the home of Mrs. Alice Meahan, Bridge street, Marysville, to-morrow (Saturday) afternoon with service at two o'clock by Rev. M. H. Mason and interment in the Baptist Cemetery, Marysville.
