I have ancestors from the Eastport area. William Marshall, b 1844 in Eastport to Edward and Nancy Marshall. None of them are in the 1850 ME census. Family lore mentions Pleasant Point. All I can find now is the Indian Reservation. Did non-Native Americans live at Pleasant Point? If so, are there records out there, and why is Pleasant Point not found in the 1850 ME Census? I am in Michigan, and totally unfamiliar with the area. Any help appreciated. Thanks- Mary Marshall Tiernan
