Dear Listers: Better late than never! The HCGS regular July Meeting is this Saturday, July 15th, at 2:30 PM in the Riverview Room of the Ellsworth Library. Everyone is welcome to attend, bring a friend, and listen to a talk by John Fernald about the history of the Mount Desert Island dairies. John Fernald has been collecting bottles from all these dairies over the years and has histories to tell. It should be quite interesting. Final plans will be made for the Hancock County Genealogy Fair to be held in Orland, at the Town Hall, August 19th also. Don't forget to get your Registrations in for the Maine Genealogical Society's meeting to be held in Ellsworth on October 7th, hosted by the Hancock County Genealogical Society.
