    3. Hello! Does anyone have the above mentioned CD?? Just wondering if it leans more towards NH than Maine?? I have BEAL's (among othes) from York Maine and Beals' Island, Washington Co. as well. Just wondering if this would be worth the expense. If anyone is interested in this CD, the write up was as follows: Discover this sweeping collection of vital records, local histories, pension records, gravestone inscriptions, probate records, and census records. Comprehensive in its coverage of early Maine and New Hampshire, this Family Archive references approximately 331,000 individuals. Created from fourteen Genealogical Publishing Company books, these resources are especially valuable because many (such as a collection of gravestone inscriptions from pre-1770 New Hampshire) were gathered from small, local sources and would otherwise be difficult to track down. Among the indexed images, you'll find vital records for nearly 200 years of Londonderry, New Hampshire as well as a genealogical, historical, and biographical history of York, Maine. While this Family Archive includes extensive coverage of small towns, it also provides broad coverage of entire states. The Genealogical Dictionary of Maine and New Hampshire, for example, offers biographical and genealogical information on every family established in Maine and New Hampshire before 1699. Transcriptions of the 1790 census for Maine and New Hampshire also provide broad coverage. In addition, you can search the indexed images of Maine Wills, 1640-1760 a volume often regarded as one of the greatest sources for colonial genealogy every published. The information that you can learn from this Family Archive varies, you can often learn: · Dates and details of vital events · Names and ages of family members · Details of an individual's estate · Personal characteristics · Information on military service (place of service, rank, etc.) · Details of an individual's immigration http://www.familytreemaker.com/catalog2001/523facd.html Thanks for any input you may have...
