    3. I have a newspaper clipping sent to me by my cousin, Harrison McAllister of Milltown, NB, in 1945. It's a picture of a group of RCAF Cadets in uniform in front of a plane. I can make out on the back of the clipping "Maritimes' Greatest Newspaper, Saint John, N.B. Wednesday Morning, August 1, 1945." Above the picture it says, "Fledgling Airmen Take Course In P.E.I." Between the caption and the picture is printed "R.C.A.F. Photo." The caption under the picture reads: "Having just returned from a flight out into the big blue yonder, these lads of various Maritime air cadet squadrons were photographed while attending a special N.C.O. instructors' summer camp course at R.C.A.F. Station, Summerside, P.E.I. The course included an intensive study in drill, physical training, discipline, among other subjects. Front row, left to right they are: J. D. Williams, H. A. Greig, F. M. Forestall, P. Bowes, J. L. Dobbelsteyn, all of Saint John; rear row, left to right: J. Gibson, P. Grant, J. MacDougall, A. Neill of Fredericton, and H. McAllister, M. B. Lee of Milltown." I have scanned the picture and if anyone recognizes one of these names as belonging to them, I will be happy to e-mail it as a jpg attachment. Alta
