CARPENTER to Ruth MABBEE in 1825. No title is given so he may be a Justice of the Peace or a Rev. Does anyone tell me Owen's church affiliation? That could give me church records to search. I am seeking the parents of Thomas Carpenter b.1828 in EASTPORT whose father is given as "William". All of the Eastport William C. Carpenter's are accounted for in the VRs and Census and Thomas does not fit. His mother, Eliza is listed as "of the Provinces" from Thomas's death record so perhaps "Willet" is my answer.
