The death occurred last night in Penniac of Alfred Gorst, aged 78 years, after a lingering illness. He was known to a large circle of friends and is survived by his widow. The funeral takes place tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock. DIED. McKNIGHT — Fell softly asleep at Victoria Public Hospital, Fredericton, N.B., May 28th, 1935, after a brief illness, Ada Snow, beloved wife of Ivan McKnight, aged 42 years. Funeral Thursday afternoon from her late home, 72 Lansdowne street, with service at 2.30 o'clock by Rev. George Telford and interment in Rural Cemetery. DIED. JAMER — At North Devon, April 30, 1935, after a brief illness, Elspeth Ann, 66, wife of George A. Jamer, survived by her husband, one daughter and four sons. Funeral Thursday, 2.30 p. m., from her late home in North Devon. Interment at Rural Cemetery, Fredericton. BOONE — At Saint John, N.B., April 30, 1935, Elizar Hartley Boone of Fredericton, aged 69 years. Funeral from home of his daughter, Mrs. Reginald A. Murray, 332 Brunswick street, to- morrow afternoon. Service at two o'clock by Rev. Mr. Westrup of Fredericton Junction assisted by Rev. John Linton and Rev. George Telford of Fredericton. Interment at Rural Cemetery. McKNIGHT — At New Maryland, N.B., August 16th, 1935, William Henry McKnight, aged 77 years. Funeral from his late home to-morrow afternoon with prayers at the house at 3.30 o'clock (Atlantic Standard Time), and service at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin at four o'clock by Rev. W. J. Bate and interment in the churchyard adjoining. DIED. DUNBAR — At Marysville, N.B., May 2, 1936, Mrs. Martha Dunbar, widow of John Dunbar. Funeral Monday afternoon at 2.30 to the United Church of Canada, where service will be conducted by Rev. M. D. Oliver and interment made in the United Church of Canada Cemetery, Marysville. NASON — Suddenly at his home in Nasonworth, N.B., January 16th, 1939, Councilor William E. Nason, aged 69 years. Funeral from his late home tomorrow afternoon with service at 2.30 o'clock by Rev. S. D. Ricker and interment made in Nasonworth Cemetery.
