To Whom It May Interest .... I've lost someplace in PA during the 1860's a G/gf, William Laverty. He migrated from N Maine or NB Canada, alone, & according to family chatter he migrated to someplace in PA, worked the coal mines, died there. Unfortunately he arrived & died there, we think, in between national census's, hence no census record. He was a RC, but no PA RC diocese has any record of him, I've contacted every one of them. He, also, was b: in Co Armagh, Ireland, 1815 & was a naturalized citizen of the USA. His wife was Hannah Kelly Laverty, now interred in St Mary's RCCem, Houlton ME. His kids were Mary Elizabeth (Day), John, William, Annie Jane (Smith), Louisa Anna (Haggerty), Hannah, Edward & Henry James. Does anyone out there know of any other sources that I should check out?
