On Saturday, March 17, 2001 at the Genealogy Fair in Waltham, MA, Sharon Howland will be lecturing on the resources of Washington County, Maine and Charlotte County, NB.  In addition to the lecture, some of Sharon's immense collection of information will be available for people to use.  Much of this information has never been published.   Although Washington County, ME and Charlotte County, NB are distant places, they have strong connections to the Boston area.  Many people migrated from these two counties to work in the mills.   The March 17th event at the Genealogy Fair will take place from 10-4.  A $5 entrance fee will be charged and can be used towards the purchase of items that Sharon Sergeant has for sale.  Contact Sharon Sergeant to reserve a spot.
