Hi List I have just found my line of Willey's but would like some documentation material to go along with the names. I could not find anything at the library for info. The farthest I actually have for documentation is George W. Willey who was married to Susan Guptill, died while living in Windham and was buried where he came from in Cherryfield, ME. His parents are listed as Orrin Turu Willey and Rachael Leighton. George W. Willey married 2nd Hattie Elliot per my grandmothers old notes of her family history. George and Susan's son Harold E. Willey b. 7/5/1876 d. 9/5/1955 m. Hattie Varney. They are my great grandparents. Harold was born in Cherryfield, lived and buried in Windham. On Harold's marriage record of 3/27/1901 shows Susan Guptill deceased. Orrin, I am told is the son of Charles Willey and Hannah Guptill. Charles the son of Ichabod Willey. Does anyone have any census, printed items, deeds, wills or other kind of info to share? I will reimburse for copying and mailing. OR can you tell me where I can get copies or info on the above people? Any books I may be able to order through interlibrary loan that mentions that Willey and Guptill families?
