Hello again, It appears that I have been somewhat misunderstood. I was asking for other people's opinions .... on the Towns of Lubec and Eastport. As I was explaining to someone who responded, my sister and I are one year apart and look like twins, but that doesn't mean we think alike. If I ever get a chance to travel again, one of the first trips I would plan would be a trip to Washington County. I wouldn't mind spending an entire summer there! And, of course, I would make side trips to both New Brunswick and Nova Scotia ... where other ancestors lived. But, the first town I would visit would be Princeton. I understand that Kidder families were living there from the early 1800's up until the late 1900's. But, I also know those Kidder families also spread out in different directions .... some only to other counties in Maine, one man went to Hawaii .. and stayed there. My great-grandfather moved to MA for about 15 years, and then .. left his wife and children there .. and went .. back to Princeton. Also, both my sister and someone who just wrote to me mentioned the movie that was filmed in Eastport a few years ago. My sister thought it was titled, "Murder in Small Town," or something. I think I'll try to find that movie in the local video store. Have a good day, Betty
