    2. Notice: On Saturday, March 17, 2001 at the Genealogy Fair in Waltham, MA, Sharon Howland will be lecturing on the genealogy resources of Washington County, Maine and Charlotte County, NB. In addition to the lecture, some of Sharon's immense collection of information will be available for people to use. Some explanation needs to be made so people will not confuse the Genealogy Fair in Waltham, MA with the genealogy fairs in Washington County in the summer. The Genealogy Fair in Waltham is a new business started by Sharon Sergeant. It is located at 233 Lake St. in Waltham. The genealogy fairs in Washington County, ME are sponsored by local historical societies and are free. The March 17th event at the Genealogy Fair will take place from 10-4. A $5 entrance fee will be charged and can be used towards the purchase of items that Sharon Sergeant has for sale. Please contact Sharon Sergeant if you are planning to attend the event. E-mail Sharon Sergeant at: info@GenealogyFair.com For people who have never been to a genealogy fair, this is a great time to do hands on research and to talk with people researching in the same area. Who knows, maybe you will be bumping into long lost cousins who might have information that you have bee trying to find for years. Hope to see you there.
