There was also a A.G. Armstrong in the same area at the same time, probley related, like brothers. maybe. Then there is a Robert Henry Armstrong born in St. John, NB in March 18,1860 son of a James Armstrong and Catherine Henry that were immigrants from Ireland and this Robert married a Annie Russell sister of a Thomas Russell in 1889, and then he married a 2nd time to a Minnie Clara Russell in 1893 which was the sister of Annie Russell. and Robert Henry Armstrong died in Newcastle, N.B in June 18, 1931. He worked as a young man on the Saint John Globe, and settled in Newcastle , NB and was a licensed Liquor vendor and he filed the accustions in 1895 which led to the downfall of Samuel U. Mcculley the police magistrate. He resigned as a vendor in 1907 and was well to do man. He was owner of race horses and a fashionable summer home at Burnt Church. and traveled the united states. and elsewhere in there lifes. He was one of the Miramichi's most active sport fisherman and big game hunters of that area. He also in 1913 owned a grocery business in Newcastle and remained there untill his retirement in 1924. He was also a Amateur photographer. He had strong political views, and was not afraid to express them. His wife was Annie Russel, and she died soon after there marriage and he and his second wife Minnie C. Russell had two daughters, one of whom was Cannie Armstrong, she married Dr. J. Alexander M.
