I was told by a still living family member the there were four girls Flora, Dora. Fannie and Rose and one boy that died young. I have found the four girls and two boys that died as infants. Flavie “Flora” Moreau, b. 1877, d, 1954, m. 11 Jun1890 to John Sirois A.K.A. John King b. 1862 or 1864, d. 1929 (These dates come from Celeste.) Fannie Morrill, b. abt. 1878, d. not known, m, 29 Apr 1896 to Stephen Miller b. abt 1875 at Nova Scotia, Canada Derumene “Dora” Moreau, b. abt 1886, d. not known, m. 8 Feb 1909 to Hormidas Rainville b. abt. 1877 at Canada Rosie Marion Morrill, b. 1 Apr, 1886, d. 12 Aug 1963, m. 8 Sep 1906 to Elmer Tewksbury Plummer Sr. b. 2 May 1881 at Bangor, ME d. 15 May 1964. Francois Moreau, b. abt. 1886 (Died age of 10 Months on 5 Oct 1886) Joseph Moreau, b. abt. 1890 (Died at age of 5+ Months on 19 Nov 1890) Finding two boys was a surprise, but because they died so very young as infants it seem to fit the word handed down. The problem is the dates There is a conflict in the records in respect to the date of birth of: Derumene “Dora” Moreau, b. abt 1886 (Calculated from her age (23) when married) Rosie Marion Morrill b.1 Apr, 1886 ( From her Certificate of Death.) (Calculated from her age (20) when married) Francois Moreau b. abt.1886 (Died age of 10 Months on 5 Oct 1886.) (Calculated from the date of his death.) From the record of marriage: Rose married Elmer Tewksbury Plummer Sr. on 8 Sept, 1906 in Bangor, ME. On her Record of Marriage: m. 8 Sept, 1906, Rose Morrill stated that her age was 20 and both her parents were dead. “Dora” married Hormidas Rainville on 8 Feb 1909 in Jackman Plt. ME On her Record of Marriage: m. 8 Feb 1909, Derumene Moreau stated that her age was 23 and both her parents were dead. So., Rose and Dora both say they were born in 1986. Go figure! How does this compare to the data you have? I am interested in solving the problem with the dates. Could you tell me where you got a copy of Flora's record of marriage so I can get one?
