Looking for any information about my ancestor Louisa Elizabeth Getchell, b. 1810, Maine. She married in September 1832 in Anson/New Portland, Somerset County, Me to Amos Hall. In the 1850 census they had an Eliza Getchell, age 70 living with them in Penobscot County. I believe this must have been Louisa's mother. In searching further, I found an Elias Getchell living in Anson, Maine and in 1847, Eliza Getchell, widow of Elias sold land to Burnice Getchell. Louisa and Amos first son was named Elias and their second son, my gggrandfather was named Albert Taylor Hall. There have been numerous Getchell/Taylor marriages. William Taylor married Isabelle Getchell, Emily Getchell married Albert Taylor and Burnice Getchell married Betsy Taylor. Has anyone got any information on any of these people that will help me hurdle my brick wall? Thanks in advance.
