According to Janice Gower ggower1@maine.rr.com Margaret Ketch born abt 1866, the dau of Israel Ketch and Mahalia Jane Wright, married an unknown Estes and had two children. Burnham Estes was one of the children. Margaret Ketch married a Dyer and a Silver. The 1930 census for Auburn,Androscoggin,Maine shows a "Bunion" (Burnham) C. Estes living with his mother, Margaret J. Silver. Also listed is Phillip E. (Vernon) Estes, grandson age 20 and Margaret L. Estes age 14. Phillip is the son of Gertrude E. Hiscock and Kusta Victor Paavola, who was given the name Estes after Gertrude and Burnham Clinton Married in 1911. Margaret L. Estes is the daughter of Gertrude Hiscock and Burnham Clinton Estes. If Ms Gower and the census are correct, all we need the the first name of the father of Burnham Clinton Estes. So far, no success. Are we sure that Burnham Estes, the son of Elijah did not marry? John
