She had been a patient sufferer for the past two months and died Sunday evening, May 11, at the age of 88 years. She was one of the oldest residents of Hartland and for years had been affectionately known as Aunt Emily to the many who knew her and loved her. She was the widow of AI (sic) Woodbury, whose death occurred 15 years ago. Her son, Noah M. Woodbury, with whom she made her home, has cared for her very tenderly. Besides her son, two daughters, Mrs. C.R. Wheeler of Auburn, and Mrs. LaForest Burton of Pittsfield and several grandchildren in the west and Guy W. Soule of Milford and Miss (sic) Harold Severance of Pittsfield, survive. The funeral service will be held at her late home in West Hartland, Tuesday, at 2 o'clock p.m. The interment will be in Pine Grove cemetery.
