In 1850 Alton ME census, they have David born 1837, Henry b. 1839, BE b.1840, and Hannah Annette 1845 living with them. I believe them to be the grandchildren. In 1850 Madison NE census I find a David born 1822 with wife Rachel and children born 1847,1849,1854, and 1856. My thought is that this David (1922) was son of David and Hannah, and the 1837 to 1845 children may have been with a first wife. Do you have any records that may help?
