Benjamin (1772-1825). was an attorney in Augusta and gave the 4th of July Oration in Boston in 1814. They had two children that I know of, William Whitwell and Lucy Cushing Whitwell. Lucy Cushing Whitwell married William Parker and I have a diary that she kept of their married life. I would be happy to share that information with anyone interested, but unfortunately it gives very little information about her parents or childhood. Sandra
