21 more towns in Penobscot and Somerset Counties have been added to the Maine town histories at my web site. Somerset County the following were typed by Betsy Webber for the web site: Madison, Mercer, Moscow, New Portland, Norridgewock, Palmyra, Pittsfield, Plantation of Carrying Place, Skowhegan, Smithfield and Solon. For Penobscot County the following were added: Mattawamkeag, Milford, Newburg, Newport, Oldtown, Orono, Orrington, Plymouth and Springfield. This is getting close to the end, just a couple more for Somerset County, than Lincoln County. If anyone is also interested in New York I have added some town histories for Allegany and St. Lawrence counies lately. Also new at my web site are the borths to 1850 for Hardwick, MA (typed by Dave Swerdfeger) and births for Haverhill, MA to 1850. With Haverhill being so large only the one through surnames starting with G are online now. These are being typed by Corilynn Brown.
