    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/UEB.2ACE/264.2.1.1.1.2.1.1.2 Message Board Post: I located copies of two death certificates: Son David states parents were born: father in Berwick and mother in Skowhegan. (Mother was actually born in Canaan) Son Henry P. states both mother and father were born in South Berwick. (again mother was born in Canaan) So if mother's birthplace is wrong then possibly father's is incorrect also? There has to be a Berwick connection somewhere -- just not sure it is William's birthplace. I guess my next step is to find more of William and Lydia's children death certificates to see where those state their parents were born. Can find where I got the Prussia info -- it may just be in notes I took down. Will have to look for them. Any info you can give me on death dates for any of the other children would be greatly appreciated. Jean

    3. I have William Brawn Sr. born 10 Jan 1793, (Ancestral File plus the 1850 and 1860 censuses). He and Lydia were in Hartland in 1850 with children James, Thomas Benjamen, Milton, and William Jr. I think the Rendall or Kendall you mention might be Milton, who was the right age, age 14 in 1850, and then he would be 24 in 1860. These are the children I have for William and Lydia, compiled from the Ancestral File and the two censuses: David 1812, Permelia 1814-1816, Hannah 1816, Richard Lambert 1819, Sheribiah 1821, James 1823, Henry Peter 1825, Robert 1827, Mercy 1829, Thomas 1832, Benjamen Franklin 1834, Milton 1836, and William Jr. 1838. I am descended from Peter and Betsey (Kincaid) Brawn through their daughter Hannah Fish Brawn who married Charles Wesley Stearns, and from Eben and Hannah (Mason) Brawn through their daughter Lizzie who married Bethuel "Jack" Stearns. does anyone have info on Eben and Hannah (Mason) Brawn? -Jeanne ----- Original Message ----- From: <jeanninet1@adelphia.net> To: <MESOMERS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, December 12, 2004 9:59 PM Subject: [MESOMERS] Re: William Brawn-Skowhegan > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/UEB.2ACE/264.2.1.1.1.2.1.1.2 > > Message Board Post: > > I located copies of two death certificates: > Son David states parents were born: father in Berwick and mother in > Skowhegan.
