I am looking for any information on Atwood Young born abt. 1812 in Madison Or Mayfield Me. or vicinity. He died 1863 in the civil war. I have info. that he is a son of Samuel Young, son of Isaac Young son of Joseph and Anna Oldham Young-but am unable to verify this . Family legend says that Atwood is buried in Skowhegan , Me. with his Father. Have not been able to confirm this either. I have information on other Young families in maine and would love to share.
