I am researching descendants of Andrew Maxim and am confused, were there two James B. Messers in the Moscow area? Elvira C. Maxim married James B. in 1867. She applied for widow's pension. He had served in Co. A. 16th ME Regt. LDS online has Rhoda Ann Hunnewell marrying James B. in 1860. However, Rhoda A. filed for widow's pension in the same year as Elvira for service of John B.
