Saw some interesting research in Norridgewock, on PRESCOTT not SMART but was wondering if you can tell me where you found all the information. My John SMART bought land in 1808 in St. Albans but lost it by 1830 where he ends up in Norridgewock. He is either sick or poor and the family seems to be scattered. I have not been able to find anything more on him. Most of the family moved to Brighton by 1850. In 1832 Norridgewock Town Orders say not to sell Loemma SMART (wife of John) and strong spirits since she has a problem with it. It seems to run in this line. I would really like to find some additional information on John & Loemma SMART as well as any and all of their children. Their son Sylvester Smart is my direct line. There is a mention of a John SMART that married Betsey TUTTLE in Brighton and had 2 children but I can not find if it's the same John Smart or something or someone I am missing.
