He was born October 25, 1932 in Bingham, Maine to James Maurice and Altena Whittemore Cahill. He married Francene Clifton; they later divorced. He then married Neva Edwards on July 29, 1966 in Nevada; she preceded him in death on September 4, 1974. James was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1973. Surviving are his children, James K. (Kris) Cahill, Janene (Craig) Linnen, Joel Cahill, Jon (Maureen) Cahill, Jerry Cahill, Tena Duffy and John Bisbal; stepchildren, Chuck Whiteside, Rachael Russell, Laurie Barone; 23 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his mother, Altena Cahill; one brother, Doug (Donna) Cahill; and three sisters, Alice Thibeault, Nancy (James) Bell, and Frances (Ray) Greenlaw. He was preceded in death by his father, James Maurice Cahill. Graveside serv ices will be held on Friday, July ! 29, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at Ogden City Cemetery, 20th and Madison.
