    1. Grant
    2. Diana Ledger
    3. I am searching for information on Hannah Grant born September 1809 in Athens, Somerset Co., Maine and married John Foss December 06, 1830 in Cornville. Found on the 1850 census Hannah Grant Foss and in the household is her mother, Abigail age 67 born in NH. I suspect that a Benjamin Grant could be her father as he is the only Grant household that all seems to fit from 1810 to 1830 and then he is gone. 1830 he is listed as 60-70 years old. I find this Grant family there from 1810-1820-1830. I would appreciate any information on this line. Regards, Diana researching Keen/e, Locke, Smart, Libby, Trask and many more in Maine

    2. Shelley Cardiel
    3. I've "rescued" an old photograph of Al CROWN which was taken at the N. S. Hawkes Studio in Skowhegan, Maine. The photograph was likely taken in the early 1900's with Al looking to be in his teens or early 20's at the time. I'm hoping to locate someone from this CROWN Family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of this family, or know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/UEB.2ACE/488.1 Message Board Post: I think I have lots of information on this Jonathan and the Hamilton family. I even have a typed diary (part of) written by his son Sam after this limb of the Maine Hamiltons moved to Minnesota. Memory tells me he started this diary in the late 1860's. I have JUST moved within the past two weeks from one community to another. I will be gone for several days but hopefully by December 1 I can devote some time to your query. Ask away. Let me know if you want to contact me directly by email. My husband descends from the Hamilton family of Maine (Cambridge-Ripley-Harmony Area/Saco & Berwick area) which basically goes like this: Elijah Jr./Elijah Sr./Gabriel #2/Gabriel #1/David Hamilton married to Anna Jackson or whichever spelling you like for her name. Without looking it up, I believe Elijah Sr. and Jonathan were brothers.
