    3. Alice, I have a copy of THE HISTORY OF ST ALBANS MAINE and it mentions in tne index THOMAS L MAXWELL marries MERIBAH D BAILEY 12 July 1857 at CANAAN. Also, WILLIAM MAXWELL marries MARY B LOTHROP 29 Sept. 1852 at ST ALBANS. Also, ELLA or ELSA MAXWELL intention of marriage to JAMES E BIGELOW posted 22 Nov. 1875 at ST ALBANS. They are mentioned as going west....WISCONSIN is west of ST ALBANS. This reference also states that MARY "D" LOTHROP married a MAXWELL and moved to NEENAH, WISCONSIN. Do these names belong to you? If so do you know anything about ELSA MAXWELL BIGELOW? Did she later marry a man named CLASS? Did ELSA and JAMES EDWARD BIGELOW have any children? Any information would be greatly appreciated. There is a BELL R "NEVENS" listed in the index. If you don't have this book I am willing to do look-ups for other family names. JAMES EDWARD BIGELOW is my G-Grandfather and he later married ANNIE TAPIN at STILES WISCONSIN. He worked on the railroad and not even his children knew of this marriage to ELSA. He was very closemouthed about his past and I'm not even sure he divorced ELSA. Thank-you for reading this, any help is greatly appreciated. 2. Thanks, I have been in contact with the Bunker Association and we are reasonably sure of where Susan came from, it's where she "went" :o) that I am confused about. 2. Hello, I am new to the list. I am wondering if there is any information out there on a Susan Bunker married to Trueworthy Tuttle. They lived in or around Athens in the early/mid 1800's. There is sooo much speculation as to why her children took the surname Bunker rather than Tuttle and wonder if any light can be shed on this branch of my husband's family. If more information is needed, I do have some dates and more names. Thanks, Kathleen B

    3. Is there anyone researching the Pratt & Burrill/Burrell families in Somerset Co. (some removed to Penobscot Co.)? I am interesting in learning more about the descendants of Elam and Joseph Pratt who came from Abington, MA to Canaan/Skowhegan around 1788 to 1790. Elam & Joseph were both Revolutionary War veterans. They had a brother, Micah Pratt, who married Mary Parkman. Betsey Pratt married 1812 Samuel Burrill. Was Betsey the d/o Elam or Joseph Pratt? Jacob Pratt m. Mary Burrill and resided in North Newport in 1850. Jacob is called s/o Elam. Was Mary Burrill a sis/o Samuel Burrill. I have come cemetery records in Somerset & Penobscot counties for some of the Pratts and Burrills if anyone is interested. Give me a name and I will see if I have a cemetery record for them. Regards, Ardell
