Hello, My gg grandmother was Matilda Jane Merritt. She went by Jane. Found Matilda J. on her gravestone. According to the gravestone she was born 16 Feb 1837 ( census records say in North Carolina). Marriage record has no mention of parents. She married Sebron Bolin 12 Nov 1865 in Dubois Co. IN. She died 7 Oct 1904 (place unknown, i assume Indiana) She is buried in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth (Harrison Co.) Indiana. Has anyone come across this person in their Merritt research? I don't know which direction to go now. Thanks a bunch !! Susan

Merritt b.1820-4 Ten,or VA,d.17 Jan 1888 in Wayne co.W.VA,m.1842-3 Nancy JaneMusic-k b.18 Nov 1820-8 VA,d.10 Aug 1911,EastLynn,Wayne,co.W.VA.they had 16 issues that I have abt.3,000 of their descendants will share info with any of their lines,I am searching for John & Nancy's parents & siblings, [email protected]
