I have to completely agree with Ron here. If there is a problem I don't see it. First, this newsgroup is perhaps one of the slower groups to which I subscribe, so there is little room for argument that too much information is posted on the group. Second, the more names I see, the more I'm likely I am to find a name to which I can connect. If there is something I'm missing, some reason why we should limit the number of names we post, I hope someone will let me know. Otherwise, I'll continue to enjoy reading the lists of names and dates that people have found and continue to search them for some common ancestor.
