HI List ,I am Mary Merritt Ayers I just received a packet in the mail from Donald Musick,regarding my gr.gr.mother Nancy Jane Music,she never used he[ k] we were always told she was b.in Washington,CO,VA,in 1820-7 & that her parents were John Wesley Musick & Isabelle Harris,she was their 7'th child,she m,1842-3 my GR.GR. dad John R. Merritt b.1820-4 Ten. or VA.They lived in Prestonsburg,Floyd,CO.KY,on Johns creek,in the 1850, and pg.109 of the 1860 census,& had their first 8 issues there before they moved to Wayne,CO,W.VA.where they had their last 8 issues 11 boy's 6 girls,most of them had Lg.families,I have abt.3000 of their descendants all over USA & abroad, I have written and searched all the CO's in KY,& VA,that I can find for John & Nancy's mar, record,has any one seen this record,I pray it will have their parents names & birth places on it,I will gladly Pay for a Xerox or photo copy of their mar,record if any one can find it for me,or tell me where to send for it,I know most of the records say she never mar,,I KNOW SHE DID MY Family is proof that she did..
