Hi, I am trying to find documentation and connection between William MERRITT/MARIOTT to his son, Captain John MARIOTT [mar. Margaret HANNA], for DAR purposes. I have received today from the DAR Patriot Lookup site, information that William MARIOTT/MERRITT [1752-1795] did indeed fight in the Rev. War [from Maryland]. I am searching for a Will/probate papers on William as well as Captain John MARIOTT, his son [said to have been born in 1780 in Baltimore, Maryland]. Am willing to exchange info.
