Merritts along the James River, VA, 18th century I am looking for any Merritts, their spouses or any records from the group that was alongside the James River VA from around 1700 through 1780s or so, including the counties of Henrico, Amherst, Albemarle, Goochland, etc. I'm trying to get an idea of how this bunch was related.
