Does anyone have any info on a Henry F. Meritt b. 1820 in Truxton Co., NY. Actually, I'd appreciate any input about Merritts in the Truxton area. I'm hoping some little clue will help break down my brick wall. Henry musy have lived in that area at least 20 some years. He was married in Nelson, Madison Co., NY in 1842 to Harriet Easton and his first few children were born in NY...one in Allegany Co. About 1847, he moved to WI where he died in 1864 from disease he acquired in the Civil War. Please, if you have any data on anyone possibly connected to him, let me know. Thanks, Joanne
