I am trying to determine whether my reasoning is correct about the parents of Nancy Jane MERRITT, b. Marlboro, Ulster Co. around 1813. I think her parents were most likely David MERRITT and Sarah CROPSEY, but have not been able to find proof. She first married William TAYLOR and named a son David. Her 2nd husband was James BURNSIDE and with him, she named a dtr. Sarah. She does not seem to have named any other children for other MERRITTS who were in Marlboro.
