Hi Merritt Folks, A couple of months ago, I mentioned the crooked little fingers that are in my Merritt line. I got several responses from others who have this genetic variation. I'm keeping a list of names/linages; thought I'd let you all know. Also, the y-chromosome DNA study that's going on in my Clark and Hancock lines is really getting exciting. Is anyone interested in getting a Merritt DNA study going? Or perhaps I should ask if anyone is interested in being a participant in a study. My Merritts are from Sampson County, NC to south GA and onward, but I'd like to know if and how we connect with other Merritts. Mitzi Clark Bateman
