Hello and Happy New Year to all Merritt researchers. I am hoping to contact any descendants of Frank (Francis) Merritt who was living at 347 Euclid Avenue, in the Borough of Brooklyn, City of New York in 1900. Frank Merritt was a brother of my great grandfather and was born on 15 October 1849 in Peckham, Surrey, England. His parents were Francis Merritt - wine merchant and Anne Kerr. According to the 1900 US Census, Frank immigrated to the States in 1870, married in 1882 a 'Sarah E.' (who was born in New York in 1861) and had four children - Sadie, Albert, Benjamin and Crawford. I have a family photo taken in 1911 of Frank's family in New York, when my great grandparents went from Australia to visit them. In the photo are two babies - presumably Frank's grandchildren - who may still be alive today in their nineties. And hopefully they may have had children, who will be my generation.
