For years everyone was looking for Alexander Frazier/Fashure/Mary "Polly" MEREDITH ,m. 1808, Henry CO, VA. It appears that Alexander's real name was James Alexander Frazier, s/o James Phasar/Phasure and Margaret Walker. Born in Ireland. Recently I found a marriage bond issued to James Frazier/Margaret Walker in 1779 in Rockingham CO., VA. It appears that they returned to Ireland were one child, James Alexander Frazier was born in 1781, and possible more children were born in Ireland. Sometime between 1782-1807 they returned from Ireland with their children. By 1808, James Alexander married Marry "Polly" Meredith in Henry CO., VA and had the following children: George Washington Frazier b. 1808; m. Sarah "Sallie" Dillon Creed T Frazier b. 1810; m. Charlotte Mullins Elizabeth A. Frazier b. 1824; m. Perry J. Kahill Ruth Ann Frazier, b.c.1828; m. John Ballard Albert Robert Alexander Frazier, b. 1830; m. Mary Elizabeth Anderson Mathew Frazier b. c. 1815 June P. Frazier b. c. 1820; m. William A. Albert Nancy J. Frazier, b. c. 1818; m. William Green Meredith Most of the Children of this couple moved to Giles CO, VA with the exception of Robert Alexander, who moved to West VA. George Washington Frazier moved to Giles Co.>Abbs Valley, Tazewell CO., VA It is amazing, but most of the desecndants of the males in this family have settled in Charlston, West VA. A large portion of Creed T. FRazier's family moved to Ohio. Still others to TN and Ill.
