SHOCKLEY, born June 12, 1832 (parents unknown but birth certificate lists his father as Underwood) and Mary Adeline JONES (her death certificate lists her father as Edward H. JONES and mother as Susan). Mary Adeline JONES (SHOCKLEY) was born Dec. 10, 1839 in Dames Quarter, Somerset County, MD. The only marriage that would fit for an Edward H. JONES and a Susan would be the one to Susan MEREDITH dated Nov. 25, 1837 in Somerset County. However, I have no further info on this couple or any possible children to their marriage. I would be most appreciative to hear from anyone with info on any of these individuals in and around Deal's Island, Dames Quarter, Somerset County.
