Denny Merideth III, a Democrat, represents Pemiscot County, and parts of Dunklin and New Madrid counties (District 162) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was first elected to the House in a special election in 1997, and then re-elected in the general election of November 2002. In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Merideth is a farmer.
