Hi Listers, I'm new to this list, having only just begun my research into my Meredith branch. My great-great grandmother was Margaret MEREDITH, b. 1832 PA and d. 1883 PA. She married Andrew J. YERKES in 1856. Margaret's parents were Simon MEREDITH (b. circa 1811 PA) and Sarah WORTHINGTON (b. circa 1809 PA). I'm "assuming" Simon descends from the MEREDITHs who came over from Wales in the late 1600s and who helped establish Germantown, PA.
