Hi, I've been looking for the parents of James Meredith, born 1797 in Franklin Co. MO. Recently found an article that said his parents might be John Meredith and Ann Taylor. They were married on Jan 17, 1785 in Franklin Co. Mo. Does anyone have any information on this couple or on James? James was married to Mary Wingfield Stockton.
